This helps assure square seating of the wheel on the axle.
Lower the boat trailer
After you have tightened the wheel onto the axle, it is time to safely lower the boat trailer. To do so, remove the wheel chocks and release the parking brake. Next, slowly move your vehicle in the opposite direction that you went to raise your boat trailer. Once your trailer is flat on the ground, stop your vehicle, put it in park and set your parking brake.
All you have to do now is raise the Ready Jack high enough to insert the pin, which holds the Ready Jack in position. Once you have done that, you are ready to get back on the road and on your way.
